Plain Measure is a small, independent publication. We cannot give personal advice, but we do want to hear about mistakes.

Reporting an error

If you find a wrong statement, a guideline that has changed, a calculator result that looks wrong or a broken source link, please write to the publisher at the postal address shown on the legal notice page. Quote the page address and the sentence concerned and, if possible, the official source that shows the correct information. When a page is corrected, its "Updated" date changes.

What we cannot help with

• Personal medical or nutrition advice. We cannot assess your weight, diet, symptoms or test results. Please speak to a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or registered dietitian.
• Urgent help. If you are unwell or in crisis, contact your local emergency number or health service. In the UK you can call NHS 111; in the US, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available by call or text on 988.
• Sponsored content, products and paid links. Plain Measure does not accept them.
• The former website on this domain. Plain Measure has no connection with it and holds none of its data; see About.
